At Restored, a Gospel Community is one of the primary places where we learn to follow Jesus together. We gather around Scripture. We digest sermons. We eat together. We pray. We share what's actually happening in our lives. We celebrate with one another, carry burdens together, and become the kind of community where it's safe to be honest about both the beautiful and difficult parts of following Jesus in all aspects of everyday life.
We see a picture of this kind of shared life in Acts:
“All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.”
— Acts 2:42 (NLT)
GC isn't meant to simply give us another night/day of the week to attend church. It's meant to help us actually live out our faith with other people.
